Music-Inspired Student Art Show: 2019 Art and Music Concerts

Music-inspired artwork created by 43 Bosque students will be featured in an Albuquerque Philharmonic performance this Friday and Sunday. Students listened to several pieces of music and then created art pieces in response. The artwork will be projected over the orchestra during its performance and will be physically on display in the lobby at each event location.

Bosque School is one of eight in the metro area invited to participate in the art and music concert. Inspiration for the artwork came from such works as: “The Flying Dutchman Overture,” “Casablanca Suite,” “La Boutique Fantasque,” “Peter Grimes: Four Sea Interludes,” and “Hary Janos Suite.” Students in the upper school art honor society, Distinguished Artists’ Guild (DAG), and middle school students from Al Na’ir Lara’s 7th grade classes produced the artwork.
