It’s Spelling Bee time! Fourteen of Bosque’s top spellers battled it out Thursday for a chance to represent the school at the Private/Parochial Bee next month.
But when the Bee was over, Alex ’24 was left standing as the winner! Mix ’25 was the runner up. Alynna ’24 rounded out the top three as the Bee’s alternate and will participate at the Private/Parochial Bee if either of the two top spellers are unable to compete.
Alex and Mix will join students from across the state who will compete at the next level, all with the hope of making it to the state competition, and then to the Scripps National Bee.
The Private/Parochial Bee will take place at Eastern Hills Academy on January 23. In addition to the spelling rounds, students will also compete in vocabulary rounds at this level.
Good luck Alex and Mix. Represent Bosque School well!
