Coach Jeaney Garcia Receives Athletic Director of Influence Award
Congratulations to Coach Jeaney Garcia, Bosque School's athletic director, who was recently named an Athletic Director of Influence by Bound! This prestigious award is given to athletic directors who exhibit outstanding leadership and have a positive impact on the lives of those they lead, including both students and coaches.
To be considered for this award, nominees must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, dedication to their teams, and a passion for using technology to drive positive change within their athletic programs. The recipients must also foster an environment of inclusivity, sportsmanship, and fair play, inspiring athletes and coaches to achieve their best.
Coach Jeaney says, "As a 27-year career athletic director, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute in a variety of environments. Working at Bosque School has been a particularly special honor and privilege because of the tangible effort from everyone to fulfill its vision and the support for athletics. I am actually surprised to receive this prestigious recognition from my peers because I know how hard all my athletic director colleagues from across the nation work. My total gratitude goes to the NMAA and every athletic director in the great state of New Mexico who have greatly mentored and influenced me and every coach at Bosque for inspiring me to be better every day.
"I am thankful to student-athletes everywhere and especially to our Bobcats for representing our school with pride, respect, and positive attitudes in everything they do. Major thanks to Bound for nationally recognizing the important and enthusiastic work of athletic directors. I am completely grateful for the support of my family and friends. And finally, thanks to all the people in athletics, including officials, parents and guardians, and fans for your team spirit and for having unconditional love as our shared vision."
