Alexandria Kent just joined Bosque School this past December as the assistant to the upper school division head. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico, with future plans to become a school counselor. Alex plays rugby with the local women's team, the Atomic Sisters, and enjoys all things outdoors.
What is your favorite weekend activity?
“If I am not playing or traveling for a rugby game on the weekends, I love to go out and enjoy nature by hiking, camping, playing disc golf, traveling, etc., with family or friends.”
What do you love about being a member of the Bosque School community?
“I love how kind the Bosque community is! Being a new member of a team can be daunting, but everyone from the staffulty to the students have been so welcoming and kind!”
Do you have any pets?
“My 2-year-old golden/husky mix boy named Ace and my 5-month-old Bernese mountain dog boy puppy named Burrow.”
What inspires you in life?
“I am inspired by the limitless potential that this life has and the desire to do my part in serving others.”
Tell us about a teacher you had who meant a lot to you.
“I had a professor that helped me get through a rough patch in my life in relation to my education. He was there to listen to me and get to the roots of how I was feeling at that time and motivated me to believe in my drive to help others, but in a way that I would feel rewarded and happy in the career path I chose. I learned that I needed to do things for myself in that moment, and not conform to the expectations of others.”
What is your favorite book?
“I enjoy a good romance novel.”

Succeed in business, give to others, live experientially, and do good.
