What is your favorite weekend activity?

If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be and why?
"I would have dinner with John Lewis and Martin Luther King. They showed me that the struggles sometimes are decades-long and require great sacrifice. Reading both of their biographies was moving and life-changing."

What do you love about being a member of the Bosque School community?
"Bosque is a school focused on the entire student, not just academics. As a teacher in the WILLDS program, this is very apparent in the inclusion of this type of curriculum."

Do you have any pets?
"No pets, except the deer, coyotes, and juncos that come to our yard frequently."

What inspires you in life?
"People that believe in people inspire me. People who know nothing is perfect."

Tell us about a teacher you had who meant a lot to you.
"Mrs. Diehl was my second-grade teacher. She helped me when I was the quiet kid in class."

What is your favorite book?
"John Lewis, Across that Bridge."

What would you tell a family who is considering Bosque School?
"Your child can explore themselves and their world here, mess up, be emotional, and find their passions here, and have our team support them through the ups and downs of adolescence."

What is your motto in life?
"It's not about not making messes, it's about doing what it takes to clean them up."

Is there anything you'd like to share about yourself?
"I'm a therapeutic recreation major and believe time outdoors can heal many things."
