Captain Amanda ‘23 is leading our team with an incredibly strong work ethic. There is a great core of bowlers with 12 fantastic team members. The team is learning a newer style of bowling which involves a popular two-handed running up release. The team is staying optimistic in practices despite the last three matches being canceled. With everyone making super progress including four new freshmen, we’re looking forward to our last regular season bowling match this Saturday.
Head Coach Mark Williams said happily, “Every bowler is having fun, learning a lot, and it’s been very rewarding watching the team grow.”
US GIRLS BASKETBALL
The girls basketball team has been working hard all season and it shows with a FOUR game winning streak! In the district opener versus East Mountain, Bosque played amazing defense and made key shots down the stretch to secure the win! Co-Captain Katia ‘22 is our amazing point guard who controls the offense with wicked drives to the basket and creates opportunities for other players to score. Co-Captain Raila ‘22 is leading the team in three-point shooting and has tough defensive skills, usually stopping the other teams’ best players. Every team member contributes to the success of our program, making this team one to watch as we enter district play.
“This team is having fun while being super competitive with the girls getting better every day. Come and show your support for girls basketball!” exclaimed Head Coach Matt Fike.
US BOYS BASKETBALL
