Nothing is more important than the safety of our community. Stay informed and opt-in to receive critical emergency communications. In order to receive text messages on your mobile phone, you must text to opt-in for these messages. We send emergency communications for the following situations:
School Delays: inclement weather or other incidents
School Closures: inclement weather or other incidents
Drill Messaging: crisis management drills (messages sent at the start and end of each drill)
Actual Emergencies: lockdown, shelter-in-place, or evacuation (we will do our best to communicate all the details we can, but this will only occur if it does not compromise the safety of our community.)
If you want to receive emergency notifications via text message, you must opt in using a cell phone number we have on record. Before opting in, please ensure the number we have in your MyBosque portal is the same one you want to use to receive emergency text communications. If it is, opt-in by texting “Y” (or “yes”) to 67587.
If you need to update your phone number on your MyBosque portal profile, please do so immediately. At the start of each month, when we update our database, you will automatically receive a text message from our emergency notification system to opt-in for text messages.
If you already receive emergency text messages, you don’t need to take any action.
