The Bosque School drama department is proud to present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Tickets are on sale now for April 30-May 2 performances. Buy your tickets today before they sell out.
This year’s musical performance will be a bit different than those we have put on in the past. There are three seating options to choose from when purchasing your ticket:
Individual seating on blankets: $10 each. These will be located in the two front rows. Please select these seats if you plan to have a solo musical theatre experience! Bring your own blanket to sit on.
Pods: $25 per pod. These are large, sectioned-off squares in the grass that can fit up to five people per pod—a great choice if more than two people plan to attend together. Bring your own blanket(s) to sit on.
Individual seating for chairs: $10 each. These will be individual spots located in the back section of the quad for those who would prefer to sit a little higher up than the ground. Bring a lawn chair of your choice!
House will open 30 minutes prior to each performance. Please come early to get checked in and set up in the grass.
“This is a very different way of doing seating charts for us. We have done our best with what we have available to us in COVID-world, and I'm sure we'll need to sort some things out as performances get rolling. You can help us with this process by trying to avoid cancellations and only buying tickets for people you know are planning to attend. With only one weekend of shows, we'll be pressed to get everyone in who wants to see it, and we want to do so as safely and efficiently as possible,” said Ms. Bode, Drama Director.
Lastly, due to some content that may be mature for 6th grade and below, Ms. Bode has given the Friday and Saturday performances a rating of PG-13. More kid-friendly lyrics will be used during the Sunday matinee performance for a PG rating. Feel free to peruse the song list at this link, or let Ms. Bode know if you have any questions about the performances.
