Bosque seniors, Bella and Jordyn, have been awarded the Davis New Mexico Scholarship! With this award, these two students will be able to attend any of the following five partner schools at no cost: University of Denver, University of Portland, Lawrence University, Southwestern University, and St. Edward’s University. Awarded to New Mexico students who will be the first in their families to earn a college degree, the scholarship staff works closely with scholars throughout their senior year of high school and continues to support them as they work toward college graduation.
This is the first year that independent schools were invited to submit nominations for this full-ride scholarship. Bosque’s Director of College Counseling, Mark Giesmann, said, “They awarded 51 scholarships this year and both of our students who applied were accepted into the program.” He went on, “This is a BIG deal for these two amazing young women.”
