The WAC service learning group is working with a local social-profit organization, Crossroads for Women, to launch a "Period Product Drive."
Crossroads for Women provides comprehensive, integrated services to empower women emerging from incarceration to achieve safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in the community, for themselves and their children. The students will be collecting "period products" such as tampons, pads, pantiliners, panties, and more to support the work Crossroads is doing to integrate formerly incarcerated women into the community and avoid recidivism.
The drive is taking place from March 2–20. Donation bins are in the Schoolhouse, Upper School Math and Languages building, and Budagher Hall.
Please help us fill the bins full of supplies to support healthy futures. Learn more here! Contact Service Learning Director Anna Rutins for more information.
