New Adventures for Kirk Ward, Director of Facilities

Dear Bosque Community,
I write with a very heavy heart to share that Kirk Ward will be stepping down from his role as Director of Facilities on June 30th. As you all know, Kirk is a true leader at Bosque and such a believer in who we are as a school and the power of what we are able to achieve. Kirk asked that I share the following with all of you:
"I have had to make a heartbreaking but exciting decision around my future at Bosque School.  A local firm has offered me an opportunity that I will be embarking on next year. While this was an extremely difficult decision; I need to take advantage of this opportunity for my family's financial security.  Jessie is a true leader, that I have grown to respect immensely in the short six months that she has been here. She is going to take Bosque out of the valley and to new heights that we have never experienced as an institution."
We have started the hiring process by posting the job on our website (although there is no way we could EVER replace the magic that Kirk brings to our community). I am devastated by this loss and so grateful to have this year to learn from and with Kirk. I gain comfort from knowing how deeply Bosque lives within Kirk's heart and have no doubt that he will forever be connected to the school. Bosque would not be the school it is without all that Kirk has contributed for so many years. Please join me in congratulating Kirk Ward on his new adventure.

All the best,

Jessie Barrie, PhD
Head of School
