Bosque musicians showcase their talents in Albuquerque’s prestigious Youth Symphony Program.
The Youth Symphony Program is comprised of talented and dedicated string, woodwind, brass, and percussion players from across the Albuquerque area. This year, there are 18 Bobcats participating in this prestigious program.
Youth Symphony students have the opportunity to hone their skills while performing a wide variety of advanced orchestral repertoire as well as works by contemporary composers.
“So proud of our Bosque musicians! The benefits of students participating in the Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program are many, but most of all, students from all over the city make incredible music together. I still keep in touch with many of the friends that I have made during my AYS days, 1981–88!” ~Nicolle Maniaci, Bosque School’s Performing Arts Department Leader and Director of String Ensemble
Congratulations to Bosque’s Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program participants for their work inside and outside the classroom!
