BEMP’s Annual Watershed Congress

Earlier this week, BEMP and Watershed Watch held the annual Watershed Congress. The gathering includes students from various schools, including Bosque, who are involved in Watershed Watch, which is a combined BEMP/Department of Game & Fish program to involve students in watershed health. At the gathering, held at the Coronado Historic Site near Bernalillo, students learn about archaeological history of the Coronado Site, look at biodiversity in the Rio Grande Basin, review their skills as watershed monitors, and present posters of their yearly data and long-term trends from their different monitoring sites.
