Fundraiser to Benefit Bosque Musicians

The New Mexico Jazz Workshop, in partnership with Outpost Performance Space, will host a fundraiser on May 18 to benefit an award-winning student quartet which is headed to Latvia this summer. The quartet includes three Bosque musicians: pianist Evan ’21, bassist Mateo ’21, and drummer Jonah ’21. Saxophonist Paul Lovato rounds out the group.

Earlier this month, the quartet competed with a group from New Mexico State University to win the first annual New Mexico Jazz Competition, which affords them the opportunity to play at the Saulkrasti Jazz Festival in July. Funds raised at the event will help the New Mexico Jazz Workshop pay for expenses associated with the trip.

Tickets are available for $35 each; student tickets are priced at $10. For more information or to purchase tickets, click HERE.
