Teams Compete in US Open Robotics Championship; One Qualifies for World Event

Three Bosque School robotics teams competed in the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship in Council Bluffs, Iowa, over the weekend. The event had participants from across the U.S., as well as 33 teams from China. The E-Lemonators team finished ranked 10th and the Techno Geckos finished ranked 26th in their division of 71 teams.

The E-Lemonators will compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky, April 24–27, against 190 middle school teams from around the world, including China, Kazakhstan, Columbia, New Zealand, Thailand, Bahrain, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, Paraguay and Australia. The E-Lemonators, are the first robotics team from Bosque School to qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship! E-Lemonators are
Alexander ’23, Niki ’23, Rhianna ’23, and Rowan ’24. Robotics Coach Curt Bland leads Bosque’s program.
