Caroline Donahue '15 Improves Marathon Time

Caroline Donahue, Class of 2015, recently completed her second New York City marathon, improving her time from two years ago by more than 14 minutes!
Caroline, a senior at Fordham College at Rose Hill in NY, said beating her previous time of 4:01 motivated her during the race. “...I was thinking of that the whole time I ran,” she said in an article in The Fordham Observer. She finished the race in 3 hours, 47 minutes, and 20 seconds.

In the article, Caroline credited her home state’s high altitude with getting her into shape to run the race well. “I run when I’m home for the summer a lot. New Mexico is at a really high really helps with getting you into shape.”

Congratulations, Caroline!
