Hike to End Hunger

On a recent Saturday afternoon, the Conserving Resources and Stopping Hunger (CRASH) service learning group members assisted the Rio Grande Food Projects with its fundraising and awareness event, “Hike to End Hunger.” Rio Grande Food Project is a local food pantry assisting with food insecurities in the Albuquerque area. The CRASH members handed out t-shirts and snacks before the hike began. They also went out on the trail and acted as “mile markers” to help participants with directions and questions.
