7/22 Reentry Plan Q&A Follow-Up
Dear Bosque Parents and Guardians,
Yesterday, we held two virtual meetings for parents and guardians to answer questions regarding our reopening plans and the three potential models we may implement to start our school year and use throughout the year to come. For those of you who were not able to attend, you can access a video recording of the meeting here.
As a reminder, please continue to visit the “Reconvening Our Community” website pages. We have continued to add FAQs to these pages that cover a wide range of topics, including what will happen if we have a potential exposure on campus, how hybrid cohorts may be selected, how many students will be assigned to classes, how students will stream into classes, lunch, athletics, before/aftercare, daily screening details, and more. Please make sure to carefully review not only the landing page, but also the three pages for Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3. Each model’s page has specific first week of school schedules, daily schedules, and FAQs directly related to it. Another resource is the video I sent out on 7/18 that walks you through some commonly asked FAQs and how to best navigate the website pages to find the information you need.
For parents who already know that due to specific circumstances, that IF we as a school elect to implement Model 1 (Full-Time, In-Person Teaching, and Learning), or Model 2 (Hybrid Teaching and Learning), you would prefer for your child to engage in Model 3 (Remote Teaching and Learning), please use this form to sign up for this option. Your child’s Division Head will reach out to put a plan in place to support your child.
We have been told the Governor will be giving a press conference tomorrow (7/23) at 3 pm that will provide more details about school reopening. We are hoping this provides clarity that will inform an ultimate decision regarding which model we can open with.
The next PARENT/GUARDIAN OPTIONAL VIRTUAL Meeting will be held on Thursday 7/30 from 6-7 pm. Please check your email for login information or reach out to admin@bosqueschool.org for login details.
