We are excited to welcome our community to campus for Bosque School’s It Takes a Village Day
Tuesday, November 21, 8:30–11:00 am. We all know that it takes a village to raise a child, so we are extending the invitation to all of the significant adults—grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, a coach, former teacher, etc.—who have helped support, encourage, and nurture our students in their success and development to join us for a morning of community, connection, and gratitude.
It Takes a Village Day will start at 8:30 am in the gym with a special Morning Meeting and coffee and pastries for our visitors. Guests will then meet up with their students, who will lead their guests on a self-guided tour of campus, sharing what they are learning and doing in each class and introducing the staffulty that they are connected to on campus. We will have bingo cards for each student to help structure the tour, and at the end of the morning, students can turn in completed bingo cards for a chance to win a prize!
In addition to touring the campus and visiting with staffulty, guests can expect music, games, and a hot chocolate bar in the quad. Also, Campos Photography will be in the Schoolhouse throughout the morning to take photos of students and their guests, and our middle school WILLDS program will be collecting donations of non-perishables, gently used clothing, and small items in the library. The day will wrap up by 11:00 am when all students will be dismissed for Thanksgiving break.
Registration for It Takes a Village Day will open in November.
