We were overjoyed to host Bosque School’s first-ever It Takes a Village Day on the morning of Tuesday, November 23. In keeping with the spirit of Grandparents and Grandfriends Day, we all know that it takes a village to raise a child. That is why all of the significant adults—grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, a coach, former teacher, etc.—who have helped support, encourage, and nurture our students in their success and development were invited to join us for a morning of community, connection, and gratitude.

The format of the day was different from years past—structured to avoid crowded classrooms, while still creating a dynamic and joyful day. The day began with pastries and coffee at a special outdoor morning meeting in Sanchez Park and transitioned to an open house format where students led their “villagers” on a self-guided tour of campus and their classrooms, sharing what they have learned and done in each class, and introducing the staffulty that they are connected to on campus.

We are so grateful for every member of our Bosque School community!
