Why Bosque

Academic Mission Statement
At Bosque School, we design learning experiences that inspire students to explore challenging concepts and ideas and to be daring in their pursuit of deep understanding. Our academic program is grounded in inquiry and prizes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Decisions of content and pedagogy reflect the diverse and changing world in which we live and offer a pathway to discovering individual passions and how to live ethically in the world.

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
Bosque provides a different approach to education, challenging the status quo and providing an inquiry-based approach, where students gain knowledge by researching and discovering solutions to problems. We aren’t here to help students “get through” school. We want to help them develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills that will last a lifetime, while also encouraging creativity and expression through a strong, cross-curricular approach, encompassing varying disciplines of study.

Our Community
We are here to provide students with skills that are crucial to success in college and beyond, helping them apply their knowledge to solve real challenges in their community. We encourage open and respectful discourse to foster a community committed to diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Through our core values of scholarship, community, and integrity, we help students develop a lifelong passion for learning and community involvement.
