How to Apply to Bosque School

Our application process is designed so that your family gets to know Bosque School, and we get to know you. We strive to make the admission process a pleasant one; applying for admission can be completed in five easy steps. Bosque School maintains a selective admission process, so please be mindful of the admission dates and deadlines. Questions? Don't worry! We are here to help.

  • Step One: Apply Online & Application Deadlines

    The first step is to fill out an application form, which should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. 

    While our application deadline has passed, Bosque School continues to accept applications on a space-available basis. Applications received after the regular decision deadline will have a response from the Admission Committee by mid-April. 
     
    Regular Decision Applicants: 
    Regular Decision Applicants are notified of their admission decision on March 18, 2021.  All notifications take place via email. Regular Decision applicants admitted to Bosque School must return their enrollment agreement by April 1, 2021. Students on a wait list will be updated on their status only if a placement becomes available. 
     
    Returning Students: Returning students do not need to re-apply for admission. Re-enrollment begins on February 25, 2021. 
     
  • Step Two: Schedule Your Family Interview 

    We require a family interview for all families applying to Bosque School. We are currently offering virtual appointments to help you discover Bosque School. During this time, parents and students have the opportunity to discuss the admission process and get questions answered. You can schedule your interview online
     
  • Step Three: Register for Admission Testing

    Bosque School, along with Albuquerque Academy and Sandia Preparatory School, administers the Star Assessment, an adaptive, computer-based test. Families can choose to take the admission test at any of the three schools.  Click on the date below to register for the exam through Bosque School, or email us at admission@bosqueschool.org to make other arrangements.

  • Step Four: Submit School Records 

    Bosque School requires two years of school records. Please download the Authority to Release Records Form and submit it directly to your child’s current school. Please submit this form as soon as possible to ensure a timely receipt of your child’s school records. 
  • Step Five: Email Teacher Recommendation Forms

    After you submit an application, we will email a link to our teacher recommendation request form. This allows you to send electronic recommendation forms to your child’s English and mathematics teachers.
