How to Apply to Bosque School

Our application process is designed so that your family gets to know Bosque School, and we get to know you. We strive to make the admission process a pleasant one; applying for admission can be completed in five easy steps. Bosque School maintains a selective admission process, so please be mindful of the admission dates and deadlines. Questions? Don't worry! We are here to help.

  • Step One: Apply Online & Application Deadlines

    The first step is to fill out an application form which should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Please note that we have different application deadlines. They are as follows:
    Affiliated Applicants (siblings, children of alumni, children of staffulty): November 1, 2020
    Affiliated Applicants are notified of their admission on December 10, 2020. Affiliated Applicants who are admitted to Bosque School must return their enrollment agreement by December 17, 2020. 
    Early Decision Applicants: November 20, 2020
    Our Early Decision program is designed for applicants who have identified Bosque School as their school of choice.  Early Decision Applicants are notified of their admission decision on January 21, 2021. Early Decision Applicants who are admitted to Bosque School must withdraw applications to other schools and return their enrollment agreement by January 28, 2021. 
    Regular Decision Applicants: January 29, 2021
    Regular Decision Applicants are notified of their admission decision on March 18, 2021.  Regular Decision Applicants who are admitted to Bosque School must return their enrollment agreement by April 1, 2021. 
    Returning Students: Returning students do not need to re-apply for admission. Re-enrollment agreements will be issued on January 28, 2021. Returning families applying for financial aid must do so by December 1, 2020. Re-enrollment agreements are due back to Bosque School on February 11, 2021. 
  • Step Two: Schedule Your Family Interview 

    We require a family interview for all families applying to Bosque School. We are currently offering virtual appointments to help you discover Bosque School. During this time, parents and students have the opportunity to discuss the admission process and get questions answered. You can schedule your interview online
  • Step Three: Register for Admission Testing

    Bosque School, along with Albuquerque Academy and Sandia Preparatory School, administers the Star Assessment, an adaptive, computer-based test. Families can choose to take the admission test at any of the three schools. Bosque School will host virtually proctored exams on December 5, 2020, and February 6, 2021.   • Step Four: Submit School Records 

    Bosque School requires two years of school records. Please download the Authority to Release Records Form and submit it directly to your child’s current school. Please submit this form as soon as possible to ensure a timely receipt of your child’s school records. 
  • Step Five: Email Teacher Recommendation Forms

    After November 1, 2020, we will enable access to our teacher recommendation forms. This allows you to send electronic recommendation forms to your child’s English and mathematics teachers.
