At Bosque School, we have the most amazing families! This month, we are excited to highlight the Brams, who have been valuable members of the Bosque School family since their daughter joined us as a 6th grader in the fall of 2020.
The Brams took a few moments to tell us what they love about Bosque School and how their daughter is thriving as she prepares for the transition from middle to upper school.
Why did you choose Bosque School for your child? “Our oldest child is currently in the 8th grade and loves Bosque. The teachers are absolutely fantastic; we chose the school for their approach to academics, the small class sizes, and the caring and supportive community.”
What do you love most about Bosque School? “We love the small class sizes and the individual attention when needed. The teachers really know the students.”
What is one word that best describes Bosque School? Tell us why you chose that word. “Genuine. There is no pretense about what the school is, what they represent, or what they will accomplish.”
How do you believe Bosque School is preparing your child for college and life? "Bosque asks students to think critically, to ask questions, to engage in and support their community in thoughtful and kind ways.”
What would you tell another parent/guardian who is considering Bosque School as an option for their child? "Your student will be truly seen for who they are, and your entire family becomes part of the school.”
In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a student because of their experiences at Bosque School? “Our daughter has become much more independent and confident in her abilities and life.”
Is there anything else you would like to share that would help prospective families connect with you and your experience? “The teachers are so supportive and kind. Everyone at Bosque goes the extra mile for students and the school, whether that means a teacher stays and does a little extra when a student needs extra help, making school dances or other community events fun, or where ever it's needed. Bosque administration and teachers have been extremely supportive, even encouraging, of our child's extracurricular activities, which are sometimes very demanding.”
