Girls Varsity Soccer: The girls varsity soccer team had an impressive season, finishing 3rd in the District and ranking third in the state! They made it to the state semifinals, and over the past few years, the team has consistently made the Final Four, State Finals, and earned multiple district runner-up titles. This season, despite facing adversity, the team rallied together, with players stepping up in the absence of injured teammates. Their resilience, teamwork, and growth are a testament to their commitment to building strong young women on and off the field.
Boys Varsity Soccer: The boys varsity soccer team had a positive and resilient season. After a tough opening loss, the team bounced back with five consecutive wins, including exciting victories over Los Alamos and East Mountain. Their performance in the state tournament, which saw them reach the Final Four, set a new standard for Bosque School soccer. The team's ability to come together and pursue a common goal was a highlight of the season, showcasing both their skill and determination.
Upper School Cross Country: The cross-country team had a fantastic season, demonstrating incredible determination and effort to improve their times. Mid-season brought some challenging, hilly courses, but the hard work paid off in October and November when athletes dropped their times by as much as 2-3 minutes, setting new personal records. Major congratulations to Dylan P. and Lelia Y. for their first time at State and to Audrey H. for her second appearance at State as a 9th grader. Alana C. earned awards at both the John G. Invite (18th place) and Grants Invite (12th place), while Audrey H. earned recognition at the Academy Extravaganza (19th place) and Grants Invite (9th place). Davie L. also earned an award at Grants Invite (16th place). With such a young, talented team, we are already excited for next season. Unleash the Bobcat!
Upper School Girls Volleyball: It was incredibly rewarding to watch our team come together toward the end of the season and truly play as one cohesive unit. The excitement was unmistakable when our less experienced players scored kills—every time, the entire team rallied behind them, and you could see the joy and pride on their faces.
The season started off a bit rocky, with its fair share of ups and downs, but the varsity squad showed tremendous growth and resilience as the weeks went on. Through tough losses, our players and coaches learned invaluable lessons, and though the results were challenging, we never backed down. Every point was fought for with determination, and the spirit of improvement was contagious. This season was a steep learning curve for all of us, but it’s inspiring to see how far we've come. The future of this program looks bright!

- Huge congratulations to: Elise A. (Libero, Senior) – First Team All-District, Norah H. (Setter, 8th Grade) – Honorable Mention All-District
Looking forward to an even stronger season ahead!
Mountain Biking: This season, we had a strong coaching staff that supported athletes at every skill level, ensuring that each rider received the individual attention they needed. Our team performed exceptionally well, with athletes competing in all four races and showing tremendous improvement throughout the season. Practices were held three times a week, and we also organized fun team dinners and a bike maintenance event during lunch. A special highlight was the gift of a bike for students, which brought in a new athlete who quickly fell in love with the sport. Congratulations to Jonah W. (7th grade) for earning 3rd place in his first one-lap race in Gallup! We are so proud of all our riders for their hard work and dedication this season.
Middle School Tennis: The middle school tennis team had a fantastic season, highlighted by a victory over Desert Ridge at the USTA end-of-season tournament. The team also focused on building camaraderie, keeping their doubles teams together throughout the season. Their hard work paid off with a 5-1 record and a 6-2 overall season. Thanks to the help of varsity players Leanna, Malia, Leah, and Marcus, the team saw significant improvement in communication and trust. The future looks bright, with many eighth-graders expected to play up in the spring.
Middle School Cross Country: The middle school team showed great enthusiasm and balance between fun and determination throughout the season. Despite running in extreme weather conditions, the athletes maintained a positive attitude and pushed themselves to improve. At the NMAA Middle School Invite, everyone performed admirably, tackling windy conditions and a longer race than usual. One of the team's highlights was the East Mountain meet, where every runner faced a challenging course with a massive hill but still managed to run close to their personal best times. It was a wonderful season for our middle school harriers, and we thank them for their hard work and team spirit!
Middle School Soccer: Another excellent season of Bosque Middle School Soccer ended with just a single loss to blemish our record, which came against a very physically strong and disciplined Saint Pius team. Other than that, the team rolled through our season with aggressive play based on total teamwork. Our forwards fired in goals at an impressive clip, and our defense was rock solid, leading us to fun victories. We showed we could grind out results in games like our barn burner at Santa Fe Prep, which ended in a hard-fought draw and showed the team's resilience and passion. Going 2-0 over our archrivals Sandia Prep and an epic second-half comeback at Academy to open the season were huge highlights. We were definitely able to UNLEASH THE BOBCAT!
Middle School Volleyball: The middle school volleyball teams experienced a fantastic season, with more girls on each team than ever before. The teams achieved more wins than last year and accomplished a major milestone by securing victories in third-set games. Most importantly, the athletes improved their volleyball skills, learning about positions and specific techniques. These players are the foundation for the upper school teams, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and progress!
