What’s your favorite class at Bosque School, and why?

My favorite classes are PE and Heritage Spanish because the way the teacher teaches makes the classes super enjoyable and easy to learn in.

Can you share a memorable project or assignment you’ve worked on and what made it special?

The most memorable project that I worked on was probably the work that we did on our "Pisa Papeles" (clipboards). It featured an original painting of a Spanish-speaking country flag, along with some other decorations.

What extracurricular activities or clubs are you involved in, and what do you enjoy most about them?

As a sixth grader, I am not a part of many clubs, but one I really did enjoy was soccer in the fall. I've played soccer for pretty much all my life, and I've always really enjoyed it.

Do you have a particular hobby or interest outside of school that you’re passionate about?

I used to do parkour, and knowing how to fall, vault, jump, and swing is very helpful for building muscle endurance and using different muscle groups. On top of that, parkour also helps with your performance in other sports.

What’s a book, movie, or TV show you’d recommend to your peers and why?

One book I would recommend is My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George, about a boy who ran to the mountains and learned to survive with his falcon, Frightful. It really focuses on the struggle that the boy faces and how he makes do with what he has.

What would you tell a family who is considering Bosque School?

It is an amazing school with many opportunities that will help anyone, from sixth all the way through twelfth, academically and in life.

Do you have a funny or moving anecdote about Bosque School that you'd like to share?

During Fall Fiesta, all of my friends and I pooled all our money together to play games and win prizes, even if they were rigged.

What is a family tradition or activity that is really meaningful to you, and why do you think it has been passed down in your family?

We collect Christmas cards from all of our friends, and we put them on the mantle, a kind of reminder to stay in contact and remember our friends.
