Kinsey Durham Grace (class of 2008) is a senior software engineer at GitHub, where she builds GitHub's Copilot Coding Agent. After graduating from high school, she studied advertising at the University of Colorado Boulder and, after college, taught herself to code — a path that eventually led her into software engineering. Kinsey had been involved in the programming community for many years, serving on the board of technical non-profits and speaking at conferences around the world. A big part of her work focuses on mentoring others and helping make the tech industry more welcoming and inclusive. 

Kinsey now lives in Colorado with her family and is a mom to two young children. When she’s not working, she’s usually outside with them — hiking, fly fishing, or spending time in the mountains.
