Each
year students of the journalism class publish the Bosque School Yearbook
and the school newspaper. Students are in charge of both publications and
the class members are expected to be self motivated, capable of working
as a team to achieve the group objectives. As a member of the journalism
staff, students will have important responsibilities as well as
privileges and special opportunities. Students will learn skills in
journalism, layout, photography as well as leadership skills that will be
valuable to you in college admission and future career goals. The
journalism class offers experiential learning with "real world"
applications.

Yearbook Information
The journalism staff is gearing up to make the 2009-2010 yearbook unique
and innovative. This year, our mission is to involve the Bosque school
community in the gathering of yearbook content more than we have in the
past. Photographs are a large part of this endeavor but we are also
soliciting ideas to make the yearbook more inclusive.
We intend to include every student in the school at least 3 times. Many
students are involved in several school related activities so inclusion
is usually not difficult. Some students are involved in activities
outside of school and we want to make more of an effort to tell their
story, as well. Thinking of the school yearbook as a historical document
that tells the stories of our time in and outside school is the goal that
challenges the journalism students. Seeking input from the greater
community will help them meet these goals. If you attend school events
and take pictures, you are encouraged to submit these pictures for
inclusion in this years exciting publication.
Dear Parents and Students,
Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites
students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got
great photos of school and community events or you and your friends
just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be
everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a
terrific book everyone will want to have.
