Lunches

Students can bring their lunch or purchase lunches provided by individual vendors through the BAA’s lunch program. Lunch services will not start until the second week of school, August 27th, so students will need to bring a lunch the first week of school. You can purchase a five-meal lunch card for $22.50 during orientation on August 20th. Students may also purchase the cards, by check only, from the school secretary after school starts.

Dress Code

The dress code is spelled out in detail in the Bosque Blue Student Handbook. When selecting school clothing, please keep in mind that:

  • Athletic apparel, including warm-up suits and PE clothes, is not to be worn to class. Students will change to appropriate athletic wear for PE class and after school sports.

  • Writing, artwork, or logos that contradict the school’s values or are offensive are not
    allowed.

  • Tank tops must be modest and spaghetti straps are not allowed.

  • Exposure of the midriff or undergarments is inappropriate.

  • Shorts and skirts must reach at least mid-thigh.

Parent Driving Volunteers

Parent volunteers are sometimes needed to help provide transportation for field trips and community service activities. Please file a copy of your Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance card with the school office if you plan to volunteer to drive. In the event of an accident, the parent’s insurance would be the primary coverage and the school’s insurance secondary.

Directory & Student Handbook

Bosque School supplies every family with a directory containing the names, addresses and phone numbers of all Bosque staff, faculty and student families. The directory is for school-related communication only and should not be used for any other purpose. Every family also receives a Student Handbook, which outlines the school’s academic policies, disciplinary system, student conduct, student life, medical & safety issues, transportation and other general information.

Drive-Thru Restrictions During Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times

Please remember that the middle school parking lot will be closed to through traffic during peak drop-off and pick-up times. Cars will not be allowed to circle through this lot to pick up students. In addition, an extra space will be blocked off in front of the crosswalk to allow for better visibility of students crossing the lanes of traffic. Traffic flow is one-way during drop-off and pick-up times.
