Upper School Cell Phone Policy
Upper School students are not allowed to use cell phones in any building, including classrooms. Students are allowed to use cell phones during their free blocks, including activity block and lunch, but only outside.
When in buildings, student cell phones should be put away in a backpack or pocket and turned off. If a faculty member sees a student with a cell phone in a building or hears a cell phone ring, the faculty member will confiscate the cell phone for the day and give it to the Assistant Head of Upper School for Students. Students can pick up their cell phones from the Assistant Head of Upper School for Students at 3:15.
If a student has his or her cell phone taken more than once, upper school administration will determine the appropriate consequence.
For additional information on school policies, please refer to the Student Handbook.
