The Sofia Center for Professional Development is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for Wild Leadership: A Retreat for Education Leaders. Wild Leadership is designed to be an inspirational and restorative retreat focused on navigating the “wild ride” of leadership with imagination, creativity, and wisdom. The Sofia Center invites educators leading at the organizational level, whether in a school, nonprofit, or other educational setting to join us April 6–8.
We are thrilled to be returning to the Bosque Retreat Center, a gorgeous oasis in the middle of the city, for year three of Wild Leadership. Over the past two years, 45 education leaders representing 30 schools and organizations have gathered for two days of carefully-designed workshops; conversation over good meals; rejuvenating options such as mindfulness or ?yoga; and fuel for leading with clarity and vision. This year’s facilitation team includes Elsa Menéndez, Education Director at the National Hispanic Cultural Center; and Tamisha Williams, Director of Adult Equity and Inclusivity at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco. Thanks to the generous support from the McCune Charitable Foundation, we are pleased to offer the retreat, including meals and overnight lodging, at minimal cost. Please click here for more registration details. We look forward to another vibrant cohort of New Mexico education leaders and would be honored if you joined us!
