This Week in College Seminar:

Discussion Topic--Athletics & Arts

On Wednesday, all Juniors gathered to discuss special athletic and/or art supplements for college applications with our resident experts on the subjects--Klaus Weber and Steve Modzelewski. Mr. Weber provided information on registering with the NCAA Clearinghouse and athletic scholarships, and Mr. Modz discussed different aspects of art portfolios. Mr. Modz is offering to help students put together their portfolios on Tuesday, May 27--interested students just have to sign up with Tina.

Students also continued to work on completing their Junior Reflections and Resumes in College Seminar this week. These assignments are due by May 9. Upon completion of both tasks, students need to schedule an Exit Meeting with Tina to meet with Juaquin to review their progress in the college search process and the narrowing of their college lists, as well as to go over any questions they might have before the school year ends.

Parents--Have you done your homework?

Earlier this spring, two forms were mailed home to parents: the Parent Questionnaire, and the Parent Recommendation. Parents were asked to complete both forms and return to Tina by May 9. If you've misplaced your forms, please email tflyn@bosqueschool.org for more copies.
