Pauline Barnes, Board Chair 2003 – Present
Pauline has more than twenty years experience in human resources and in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. She effectively managed the Fab and Sort Manufacturing Human Resources Departments at Intel. In this capacity, she developed, implemented and managed compensation programs, organizational restructuring strategies, people roadmap programs, leadership pipeline strategies, and people start up planning processes for six new factories and the expansion of an acquired factory. Pauline won the Intel Achievement Award while in operations and Intel Quality Award in human resources. She was instrumental with Intel’s diversity efforts and served as the first chair of the NM Women at Intel Network. She has served on the Board of Directors for the !Explora! Science Center and Children’s Museum and served on the Staff Parish Relations Committee for her church. |

Dana Asbury, Trustee Committee 2010 – Present 2005-2009 1995-2004 After receiving an M.A. and M.F.A. from the University of New Mexico, Dana worked as an editor of art and photography books at UNM Press for eighteen years. As a Bosque parent and active Board member since Bosque’s early days, Dana has served the Bosque community in many capacities. |

John Badal, Board Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair and Development Committee 2008 – Present A graduate of Albuquerque Academy and the University of New Mexico, John is the CEO and owner of Southwest Therapies (SWT) and Mobile Medical Marketing (MMM). John formed these companies over 15 years ago for the sole purpose of bringing state-of-the-art medical technologies to the rural areas of the Southwest. SWT and MMM currently provide service to 33 hospitals in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. John and his wife, Heather, have a daughter attending Bosque School. |

Susan Ford Bales, Trustee Committee 2007 - Present 1998 - 2006 Susan is on the board of the Gerald R. Ford Foundation and is the former chairman of the board of the Betty Ford Center for alcohol and drug abuse. She is a professional photographer and photojournalist. Susan has recently authored and published two novels, Double Exposure and its sequel Sharp Focus. |

Bob Bovinette, Board Vice Chair, Executive, Trustee and Development Committees 2005- Present Bob retired, in 2003, as President and CEO of the Commonfund, a not-for-profit organization specializing in investing endowment and cash funds for schools, colleges, universities, and other nonprofit institutions. He has been involved in endowment financial management and secondary and higher education for more than four decades, previously as President and Chief Executive Officer of Albuquerque Academy and as Executive Vice President and Treasurer at Occidental College. Bob is the Chair of the Northern Illinois University Foundation and serves on various community, educational, and corporate boards. |

Michael Budagher, Finance Committee 2004 – Present Michael is a successful entrepreneur having founded several successful start-up technology companies in Albuquerque and Lubbock, Texas. He has diverse experience in all aspects of executive administration and business operations. |

Mitchell Coven, Development Committee Chair 2006 - Present Mitch is the founder, CEO and President of Vitality Works, Inc.., a natural products nutraceutical manufacturing lab registered by the Food and Drug Administration and Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1982. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin, (Madison). Mitch is currently serving in his 12th year on the board of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) where he chairs and is active on numerous committees. Mitch and his wife, Nancy Klion, have three children; a Bosque graduate, a Bosque students and a Manzano Day School student, where Nancy chairs the Board of Trustees. |

Lucia L. Deichmann, Board Secretary, Development and Trustee Committees 2008 – Present Lucia spent her early career in corporate and government entities involved in systems analysis and the development and implementation of large database systems. For the past decade, she owned and operated a manufacturing wholesale food business in Albuquerque. Lucia is currently a financial planner involved in setting up NGO operations in Africa and exploring microfinance opportunities to help developing businesses succeed. She also serves on the SARANAM Board for homeless families. |

Sayre Townsend Gerhart, Facilities Committee Chair 2008 – Present Sayre is a registered architect by trade and has spent the last 15 years heavily involved in community and volunteer endeavors. Sayre currently serves as a Councilor in the Village of Corrales and on the Safe Routes to School initiative. Sayre is the founding chairman for the Corrales Farmland Preservation Committee, former Corrales Planning and Zoning Commissioner, and was co-author of a booklet, Corrales Historic Buildings, winner of a 1999 NM Historic Preservation Award. |

Dennis Goggin, Finance and Investment Committees 2009-Present Dennis worked for 30 years as a financial services executive with Chase Manhattan Bank and later with Visa International, primarily in Europe and Asia. A native of Michigan, he received a B.A. from the Michigan State University Honors College. He then studied at the Russian and East European Institute at Indiana University and earned an M.A. in Russian and East European History. Prior to joining Chase Manhattan Bank, he was a member of the US Cultural Exchange and lived in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he was affiliated with the Institute for Balkan Studies. Dennis lives in both Corrales and Boulder, Colorado. |

Daniel Gutierrez, Development Committee 2010 – Present Reverend Gutierrez is ordained to the clergy of the Episcopal Church and serves on the Executive Staff of the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande. Daniel earned degrees in History, Political Science, Public Administration and Theology. Daniel serves on numerous local and national boards; however, his most important role and greatest responsibility is being the proud father of Jude, a Bosque student, – a joy he shares daily with his wife, Suzanne. |

Dr. Jeffrey Katzman 2009 - Present Jeffrey currently serves as Clinical Professor and Vice Chairman for Education and Academic Affairs for the Psychiatry Department at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Prior to this, he was the Director of Behavioral Health for the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Hospital in Albuquerque for nine years. He has experience in leadership and organizational consultation, career and family coaching, and writes original musicals for The Box Theater in Albuquerque. He attended Stanford University as an undergraduate and then went on to the University of California San Diego for medical school and completed his Psychiatry Residency at UCLA. Jeffrey and his wife have two children who attend Bosque. |

Jim Klabunde, Facilities and Development Committees 2008 – Present Jim is an entrepreneur having founded his first company, Southwest Wire and Cable, in 1986. Under Jim’s guidance Southwest Wire and Cable grew, merged and became CSC, the largest privately held distributor of specialty wire and communications products in the USA. CSC was purchased in 2007, with over 32 locations and over 900 employees. Over the years Jim has been active in the Albuquerque Community. Jim and his wife Mara have two Bosque graduates. |

Bruce Leising, Investment Committee Chair 2007 - Present 1998 - 2006 Bruce retired from Intel after 28 years of service. In his last position at Intel, he was the Director of Corporate Services and a Technology Manufacturing Group Vice President. He joined Intel as part of a start-up team and has been involved in Technology Development or Manufacturing for the majority of his career. He led a group in basic technology development, started up and managed an international silicon factory for Intel and has won both an Intel Achievement Award and Intel Quality Award for his work. He has played a significant role in the evolution, growth, and competitiveness of Intel manufacturing during his tenure at Intel, and was Vice President of worldwide silicon manufacturing prior to his position in Corporate Services. Today Bruce runs his own company focusing on private equity investments and venture capital. |

Dr. Duane Ross 2009 - Present Duane currently serves as Medical Director of Government Programs for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Mexico. He received a B.A. in English Literature from Cornell University; Doctor of Medicine from Howard University School of Medicine; and served his Internship, Residency and Fellowship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, NY. He is also involved in Prescription Trails Pilot Project, Healthier Weight Workshop, Healthier Weight Council and Safe Routes to School. |

Dr. Joan B. Woodard, Facilities Committee 2009 - Present 2000 - 2008 Joan is Executive Vice President Emeritus of Sandia National Laboratories, and currently the owner of a consulting company in energy, defense and technology. She serves on many advisory boards for national laboratories, the Departments of Defense and State, as well as universities. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Sciences) from the University of California, Berkeley; an M.S. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University; and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Rolla (magna cum laude). |
